The Dark

Therapy

Therapy so difficult
Time stretches on forever
Sitting there in silence
Apprehension ceasing never
Silence so uncomfortable
Silence stretching on
You try to break the silence
But then the moment’s gone.

Can you see the
Flashlight
checking if I'm OK?
The night turns
slowly into day.
Trying to clear
the fog of confusion,
Reigning supreme.
Broken promises
made in haste
have bought me here
Alone, Afraid.
Speaking out the fears,
The dreams.
Peanut butter and fags
Keep me from going
around the
Bend.

The Dark

Just a little cautionary note: This poem may be TRIGGERY for some. Keep yourself safe and please don't read it if you think it'll badly affect you. Take Care, xxx R

A wall, a stone, a face
DARKNESS SWALLOWS
A smile, that smile, a tear
ME
The pain, the floor, that wall
INSIDE IT’S WARM SEDUCTION
A smile, a hope, that smile
SCREAMING SOMEONE, ANYONE HELP ME!
The fear, the dark, the sound
NO ONE
The cold, the shame
NOT ME, NOT YOU, NOT HIM
The dark

ALONE
