there was a blank page

and i drew a picture
black lines on the white
black lines on the white

and with a brush as thick
as a clotted tongue

they are colouring it in

until the whole page
is just bloody mud

like a fool of a DJ
reciting this week's number one

maybe somebody else
would enjoy this

but i'm banging on the walls
knocking at the doors

turn the volume down
and leave the party
