Food
Poem
Flakey
pastries,
Moist sponges,
Gooey creams,
And soft centres.
I crave you yet I detest
you.
You are my weakness,
You tempt me when I strive;
To ignore you,
To block you out,
To hide from your magnetic pull,
I forbid you but my hunger and greed eventually succumbs,
I gorge and frantically binge.
I don't want you anymore…..
I don't need you
You make me fat, ugly, flabby
You have to go,
Sighing I close the bathroom door
Alone.
