Depression
When
pain and despair overtake,
And the front you portray is just a fake.
When you put up barriers and shut right down,
And the only expression your face knows is frown.
When life loses its meaning and worth,
And the hole you’re in is filling with earth.
When you’ve hit rock bottom but keep on going,
And the irrational thoughts are overflowing.
When your mind’s in confusion, turmoil, despair,
And you feel so alone like no one could care.
When you feel like you just can’t go on anymore,
And you feel your only escape is that appealing trapdoor.
