Borderline UK A national user-led network of people within the UK who meet the criteria, or who have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Includes info, resources, guide to therapy, crisis houses, medication and support
BPD Sanctuary Borderline personality disorder education, communities, support, books, and resources. Includes an excellent ‘ask the expert’ section
Personality Plus - National Personality Disorder Website A user-friendly site aimed at everyone from those diagnosed with a 'personality disorder' to those that commission services to help them. Contains information on 'personality disorders', support & recovery, existing services, research and the national training programme

Follow Your Dreams 'Inspirational Roadside Assistance' - Includes ‘quick bites’ of inspirational quotes on everything from creativity, pupose and love to happiness, send a fine art postcard, share your dreams forum
Psychjourney A US site aiming to bridge the gap between mental health 'consumers' and service providers. Sections include spirituality, coping with stress, advocacy, caring etc. There's lots of good stuff here, but browse around as it's not always obvious where it is

Depford Hearing Voices Service Support and info for voice hearers - includes a brilliant FAQ section with a detailed rundown on coping strategies that other people have found useful. I haven't found a better list on the intenet yet!
Hearing Voices Network Information on the organisation and related self help & support groups (all over the country). List of publications and some links
NHS (Schizophrenia Portal) NHS indepth section - includes info on symptoms, treatments, living with it and legal rights.
Ron Coleman Voices Ron is a survivor, a trainer, an author and has developed a recovery centred approach for helping others with their own ‘voices’ and experiences. His website details some of his experiences, his work, his writing and his training days/workshops
Voices Forum A self help group, run entirely by users of mental health services. Working for user empowerment NOT patronisation, the site includes poetry, experiences, graphics, humour, views on services & treatment, a newsletter and some facts & figures.

 

Recovery
A site containing info on recovery, crisis planning, self esteem and self help. A useful resource for people experiencing mental distress aswell as those trying to support them

 

Regional Organisations
Mental health resources (including regional & national), aswell as the local Mind's magazine - Glimmer.
Cambs Mental Health Info A gateway to information about mental health and services available in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Includes ‘living positively’ (relaxation, eating healthily, sleeping etc), aswell as local info on the services, voluntary sector support, self help groups etc

LAMP (Leicestershire)

Lots of information on a wide range of issues (including housing and benefits), an extensive contact directory (local & nationwide), plus the latest news and a discussion board.

Somerset & Wessex Eating Disorders Association User led charity, based in south of England – but relavent to all. Lots of interesting articles, UK support finder, leaflets, info on their services, poetry, prose, inspirational quotes and more
Support for those with Anxiety, Depression, OCD and other stress and phobia related problems. The site includes basic mental health info, programme of groups, self help articles and info on the organisation
Forward thinking local organisation that has a crisis house, holiday caravan, drop in centre etc. Site includes mental health related news, their own newsletter, a forum, and info on their services

 

Self Harm
For women in emotional distress. Helpline. Can order leaflets, reports and training packs. Brief Self Harm info
National Self Harm Network A UK survivor-led org campaigning for the rights of people who self-harm. The website includes a large list of resources, a well used online forum & a very useful ‘self injury – treatment checklist’ that you can print out and give to a triage nurse at A&E.
Project SPEAR Large UK site for people who self harm - includes support materials, personal stories, a newsletter, advice and personal experiences. The organisation is set up to support, befriend, empower, and encourage people
