Back to Normal Shampoo Humour

I was shopping the other day for shampoo and conditioner. I came across a shampoo whose slogan is "Back to Normal”. Normal - to be normal again. I suffer from depression - I have been looking to get back to that place where everyone said I was normal. Can you imagine that - a shampoo that can take you back to normal. Why am I wasting time on medicine and psychoanalysis when all I needed was a shampoo - Back to Normal.

I discussed this with my psychologist. Did she think that this was possible. She was concerned about the shampoo putting her out of business. The headlines "Shampoo cures Mental Health Issues." Back to Normal in one wash. Could these claims be true- I talked to my medial doctor - he was wondering if the circumstances would have to be controlled. What if you used hard water or rain water - would it affect the results. If you used heavy water would it make you a normal physicist while rain water would make you a normal hippy? Or would it make you normal like the guy who designed the formula for the shampoo? Would normal be a person that only thought of hair care products all day. What if you are a redhead like me and normal is blonde or brunette? What if the person deciding who normal is is not normal himself and he believes everyone should be paranoid?

Now I am afraid to use my shampoo. My hair is beginning to stick to my head. I have to go back to psychoanalysis to rid myself of my fear of hair care products.

What a stupid slogan. Who wants to be someone else's normal.
